About This Project

The Matsqui First Nation’s new Community & Health Centre in Abbotsford BC is an vibrant community hub in a picturesque setting which poses views of the Fraser River and the mountains on the north side.
This building includes a Community Hall/Gymnasium, Administration Offices, Health Centre and a Council Chambers room.

JM&C is proud to have furnished this amazing building. One of JM&C’s designers created a custom made table for the Council Chambers which is built from locally reclaimed BC Douglas Fir slabs.
Other furnishings included open plan workstations, private offices, lobby soft seating, lunchroom and cafeteria furniture, stacking chairs and tables for the gymnasium, and reception desks.
